This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") outlines the permitted and prohibited uses of the LexEcho application ("App") provided by SensesHub Corporation ("we," "our," or "us"). By using LexEcho, you agree to comply with this Policy.
1. Intended Use
LexEchoAAC is designed as an educational and communication support tool for:
- Parents and legal guardians of children who may benefit from augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) support
- Family members and caregivers providing supervised communication assistance
- Educational purposes within the home environment
Educational Purpose Only: LexEchoAAC is an educational communication tool, not a medical or therapy app. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace professional care.
2. Permitted Uses
You may use LexEcho to:
- Support your child's communication development in a supervised setting
- Create custom communication tiles and vocabulary
- Track communication usage for personal educational records
- Generate reports for sharing with educators or therapists (at your discretion)
- Use the Play & Learn educational features
- Customize scenes and vocabulary to match your child's environment
3. Prohibited Uses
You agree NOT to use LexEcho:
- As a substitute for professional speech therapy, medical treatment, or psychological services
- For commercial purposes without our written consent
- To create content that is harmful, abusive, or inappropriate for children
- To upload images that contain inappropriate, illegal, or harmful content
- To reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
- To circumvent security features or access controls
- To impersonate others or misrepresent your relationship to a child
- For any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- In emergency situations (contact emergency services instead)
- To make medical claims or diagnostic assessments
4. Content Guidelines
When creating custom tiles or uploading photos:
- Only upload photos you have the right to use
- Do not upload images containing other people without their consent
- Ensure all content is appropriate for the intended child user
- Do not create tiles with offensive, violent, or inappropriate imagery
- Photos uploaded for AI-assisted tile creation are processed by third-party services (OpenAI)
5. Caregiver Responsibilities
As a caregiver using LexEcho, you are responsible for:
- Supervising all use of the application by children
- Protecting your Parent Zone PIN and not sharing it with children
- Reviewing AI-generated content before presenting it to your child
- Making informed decisions about your child's communication support needs
- Consulting with qualified professionals regarding your child's development
- Ensuring the application's use is appropriate for your child
6. Data and Privacy
- You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide
- Do not share login credentials or device access with unauthorized persons
- You acknowledge that some features require internet connectivity
- Review our Privacy Policy for details on data handling
7. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any misuse of LexEcho or violations of this Policy, please report it to:

8. Consequences of Violation
Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in:
- Warning or notice of violation
- Temporary suspension of access
- Permanent termination of your account
- Legal action where appropriate
