Important: LexEcho Does Not Use Traditional Cookies

LexEcho does not use HTTP cookies for tracking, advertising, or analytics.

Instead, we use browser local storage and device-based storage to provide offline-first AAC functionality.

How LexEcho Stores Data

Instead of cookies, LexEcho uses modern web storage technologies designed for offline-first applications:

What We DO NOT Use

Essential Storage (Cannot Be Disabled)

LexEcho requires local storage to function. This storage is essential for:

Disabling local storage will prevent LexEcho from functioning. If you clear browser storage, all local data will be lost (unless synced to cloud).

How to Manage Your Data

Clear Local Storage (Browser)

  1. Open your browser settings
  2. Navigate to Privacy & Security → Clear Browsing Data
  3. Select "Local Storage" or "Site Data"
  4. Choose LexEcho specifically or clear all sites

Clear App Data (Mobile)

Android:

  1. Go to Settings → Apps → LexEcho
  2. Select "Storage"
  3. Tap "Clear Data" or "Clear Storage"

iOS:

  1. Go to Settings → General → iPhone Storage
  2. Find LexEcho
  3. Tap "Delete App" (this removes all local data)

Delete Cloud Data

To permanently delete cloud-synced data, contact us at connect@senseshub.org with your device ID (found in parent mode settings).
