SensesHub Corporation does not sell your personal information.

We do not, have not, and will not sell your personal data to third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration.

Our Commitment to Your Privacy

LexEcho is designed with privacy as a core principle. We are committed to protecting the sensitive information of children with communication needs and their families.

CCPA Compliance (California Consumer Privacy Act)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), consumers have the right to opt-out of the sale of their personal information. However, this right does not apply to LexEcho because:

We do not sell personal information: None of your data or your child's data is sold to advertisers, data brokers, or any third parties
No advertising: LexEcho contains no third-party advertising or tracking pixels
Limited third-party sharing: The only third-party data sharing occurs when you choose to use optional features (OpenAI Vision API for photo analysis)

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to:

Provide AAC communication functionality
Generate IEP-ready reports for your child's educational team
Store and sync data across your devices (optional, when online)
Process photos using AI to suggest communication tiles (optional feature only)

Third-Party Services We Use

OpenAI Vision API (Optional)

Purpose: When you choose to use the Photo-to-Tile feature, images are sent to OpenAI for AI-powered analysis to suggest tile labels
Control: This feature is entirely optional - you can create custom tiles manually
Data Retention: Images are not stored by us or OpenAI after analysis
Not a "Sale": This is a service provider relationship, not a sale of personal information

Neon PostgreSQL (Cloud Storage)

Purpose: Secure cloud backup of your child's profile and communication logs
Control: Data syncs only when your device is online
Not a "Sale": This is a cloud infrastructure provider, not a data purchaser

Your CCPA Rights

Even though we don't sell your data, you still have important rights under CCPA:

Right to Know: View all data stored through parent mode in the app
Right to Delete: Use Settings → "Privacy & Your Child's Data" → "Delete all my child's data" to permanently erase all data from both your device and our servers. You may also clear browser storage or uninstall the app to remove local data only.
Right to Access: Use Settings → "Privacy & Your Child's Data" → "Download my child's data" for a complete JSON export of all stored data, or generate IEP reports from the reports section.
Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights

Device-Based Privacy

LexEcho uses device-based data isolation:

All data is tied to a unique device ID generated locally
No user accounts, emails, or passwords required
Your data stays on your device by default (offline-first design)
No cross-device data sharing or selling

Children's Privacy Protection

We take extra care to protect children's sensitive information:

COPPA Compliance: No personal information is collected from children without parental consent
GDPR Article 9: Special category data (health-related communication needs) is processed lawfully with explicit consent
Parent Control: All data entry and management happens through PIN-protected parent mode
No Marketing: Children are never exposed to advertising or data collection for marketing purposes

How to Delete Your Data

To permanently delete all your data:

All Data (recommended): Use Settings → "Privacy & Your Child's Data" → "Delete all my child's data" in the app. This simultaneously wipes your device-local data and removes all cloud-synced records from our servers in one action.
Local Data Only: Clear your browser's local storage or uninstall the app

Notify users of material changes through the app
