Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains our subscription pricing, payment processing, refund eligibility, and cancellation procedures for the LexEcho application ("App") provided by SensesHub Corporation ("we," "our," or "us").
1. Subscription Pricing
LexEcho operates on a subscription-based model with the following plans:

Paid Subscription: All subscriptions are billed at the time of purchase. You may cancel at any time from the Stripe Customer Portal; access will continue until the end of your current billing period.
2. Payment Processing
2.1 Payment Provider
All payments are securely processed through Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. We do not store your credit card information on our servers.
2.2 Accepted Payment Methods
- Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
- Debit cards
- Digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay where available)
2.3 Billing Information
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period
- You will receive an email receipt for each payment
- Prices are displayed in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes
- Currency conversion fees may apply for international payments
3. Managing Your Subscription
3.1 Stripe Customer Portal
You can manage your subscription through the Stripe Customer Portal, accessible from the "Manage Subscription" link in the Parent Zone menu. Through the portal, you can:
- View your current subscription plan and status
- Update your payment method
- View and download past invoices
- Cancel your subscription
- Update your billing information
3.2 Subscription Changes
- Upgrading: You may upgrade to a longer-term plan at any time. The new rate will be prorated based on your current billing cycle.
- Downgrading: Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
4. Cancellation Policy
4.1 How to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time through:
- The Stripe Customer Portal (accessible via "Manage Subscription" in the app)
- Contacting our support team at connect@senseshub.org
4.2 Cancellation Terms
- How Cancellation Works: When you cancel, you will retain access to LexEcho until the end of your current billing period. No additional charges will be made after cancellation.
- No Partial Refunds: We do not provide partial refunds for unused portions of a billing period.
4.3 Data After Cancellation
- Your child's profile and communication data remain stored locally on your device
- We recommend exporting any important IEP reports before cancellation
- Server-synced data will be retained for 30 days after cancellation, after which it may be deleted
5. Refund Policy
5.1 Refund Eligibility
We want you to be satisfied with LexEcho. Refunds may be granted in the following circumstances:
- Accidental Purchase: If you were charged in error or did not intend to subscribe, contact us within 7 days of the charge
- Technical Issues: If you experience significant technical problems that prevent you from using the app and our support team cannot resolve them
- Duplicate Charges: If you were charged multiple times for the same subscription period
- Unauthorized Charges: If charges were made without your authorization (subject to verification)
5.2 Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will generally not be provided for:
- Change of mind after the purchase
- Failure to cancel before the renewal date
- Unused subscription time after voluntary cancellation
- Dissatisfaction after extended use (beyond 30 days from purchase)
- Issues caused by third-party software, devices, or internet connectivity
5.3 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Email connect@senseshub.org with the subject line "Refund Request"
- Include your registered email address and reason for the refund
- Our team will review your request within 5 business days
- If approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days
5.4 Refund Processing
- Approved refunds are processed through Stripe to your original payment method
- Processing times depend on your bank or card issuer (typically 5-10 business days)
- Refunded amounts will appear on your statement as a credit from "SENSESHUB" or "LEXECHO"
6. Automatic Renewal
- All subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period using your saved payment method
- You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from the Stripe Customer Portal
- You will receive an email receipt for each renewal payment
7. Price Changes
- We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time
- Price changes will not affect your current billing period
- We will notify you at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect
- Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing
8. Disputes
If you have a billing dispute:
- Contact us first at connect@senseshub.org
- Provide details of the transaction in question
- We will work to resolve the issue within 10 business days
Filing a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank before contacting us may result in account suspension pending resolution.
